These terms cover your use of Courtside Crew (the app), made by Get Better App, LLC ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Using the app

Courtside Crew is free. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own learning and enjoyment, on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the terms of the store you got it from. You may not sell it, rent it out, or pass it off as your own.

There's no age limit. The app collects no information from anyone (see our Privacy Policy), and anyone old enough to enjoy it is welcome to.

The rules it teaches

Courtside Crew is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by USA Pickleball.

Its rule explanations are plain-language summaries of the 2026 USA Pickleball rules, written for learning. They are not the official rules and may leave out details or contain mistakes. For tournaments, officiating or any other official play, check the official USA Pickleball rulebook.

Made with AI

The app's code, 3D characters and scenery, textures, sounds, music and writing were generated with AI tools. The Godot Engine it runs on and its fonts are the work of their own authors, and the background sounds of the outdoor courts, the sneakers' scuffs, the gym's shoe squeaks and the bat's wings are public-domain field recordings, the music cues at the big moments are played on public-domain recordings of a piano's notes, all credited in the app under Settings, About, Licenses.

Playing safely

The app shows pickleball; it doesn't coach your body. If you take up the game, play within your own fitness and ability.

Ownership

The app and everything in it belong to Get Better App, LLC, apart from the third-party parts named on its Licenses screen, which belong to their own authors.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that it is free of errors or that it will always work on your device.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Get Better App, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you for anything to do with the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

App stores

If you got the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple has no obligation to support the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. The same holds for any other store you got the app from, to the extent its own terms require.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. When the terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date; using the app after that means you accept them.
